First new addition for Fall 09…..the ‘Blue Baked Denim’ work shirt. Finally the work shirt I’ve been looking for. I didn’t want to spend $100 on one at a place like J Crew, and hadn’t found the right one anywhere else. I actually picked up one from Uniqlo but when I saw this I had to return that one and get it. It’s from Top Man down on Broadway. This is a versatile shirt that is both funky (pearl snap buttons, western stitching) and refined (great slim fit and nice accents like the Plaid under the collar). I also like the idea of the work shirt because it forces you to not wear jeans, the ultimate lazy man’s trouser. Pair this with some autumn orange corduroys or slim leg khakis (something I am still searching for for the fall….) and go about your way in style.
